privacy policy.

last updated — 29 april 2026

this policy explains what personal data mk innovations ltd ("we", "i", "us") collects when you visit michaeltawiah.com, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. we keep it short and in plain english so you can actually read it.

01 — who we are

this site is operated by mk innovations ltd, a company registered in england & wales (company no. 12571567). for any privacy question, email me@michaeltawiah.com.

we are the data controller for any personal data collected through this website.

02 — what we collect

this is a static brochure site. there are no forms, accounts or trackers. the only data that touches us is:

  • server logs — your ip address, user agent, referrer and the time you visited. created automatically by github pages, our host, in the normal course of serving the site.
  • contact data — if you email me@michaeltawiah.com or book a call via calendly, we receive whatever you choose to send us (name, email, message, time slot).

we do not use cookies, analytics, ad pixels or fingerprinting on this site.

03 — why we use it
  • to keep the website online and secure (legitimate interests).
  • to reply to enquiries and arrange calls (legitimate interests / steps to enter into a contract).
  • where relevant, to perform a contract for performance-marketing services (contract).
04 — third parties

we rely on a small number of processors to run the site and the business:

  • github pages — hosting and tls termination.
  • godaddy — domain registrar and dns.
  • google workspace — business email for me@michaeltawiah.com.
  • calendly — call scheduling. they collect the booking details you submit and process them under their own privacy policy.
  • automatedAds — separate platform we operate. governed by its own privacy policy at automated-ads.com.

outbound links to linkedin, instagram and youtube are governed by those providers' own policies once you click through.

05 — how long we keep it
  • server logs: kept by our host for a short rolling window (typically 7–30 days).
  • email correspondence: kept for as long as needed for the engagement, then archived or deleted in line with normal business records.
  • calendly bookings: retained while the meeting is relevant; managed in calendly.
06 — your rights

under uk gdpr you can ask us to:

  • access the personal data we hold on you,
  • correct it if it's wrong,
  • delete it ("right to be forgotten"),
  • restrict or object to how we use it,
  • port it to another provider.

email me@michaeltawiah.com and we'll action requests within one calendar month. you can also complain to the ico if you think we've handled your data poorly.

07 — international transfers

some of our processors (e.g. calendly, google) operate outside the uk. where personal data is transferred outside the uk/eea we rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses to keep it protected.

08 — changes

if this policy changes we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
